Partnership, not procurement

EDIS is built to be delivered with institutions rather than sold into them: universities that teach the models, research bodies that extend them, development institutions that fund the questions, and governments that own the data and the decisions.

Training

Training partners

Universities, regional training institutes and professional bodies delivering EDIS Academy courses under licence, with certified trainers and joint certification.

Research

Research partners

Institutes and faculties extending the model estate, contributing calibration work, validation studies and country adaptations that return to the platform.

Institutions

Development institutions

Development banks, regional bodies and partners funding country programmes, using EDIS for appraisal, portfolio analysis and results reporting.

Universities

Teaching access, student laboratories, supervised projects and fellowships, so graduates arrive in ministries having already run a policy simulation.

Training partnership

The partner teaches; EDIS keeps the standard

A training partner delivers EDIS Academy courses to its own participants, using its own faculty. Platform access, training datasets, model versions, assessment and certification stay under EDIS management, so a certificate means the same thing wherever it was earned.

What the partner receives

  • Course materials, exercises and training datasets
  • Trainer certification for the partner’s faculty
  • Laboratory environments provisioned per cohort
  • Participant registration and progress tracking
  • Joint certification under the Academy register
  • A defined route from Academy access to an institutional licence
Expectations

What the partnership requires

  • Faculty who complete trainer certification before delivering a course
  • Delivery to the published course specification and assessment standard
  • Participant records maintained in the Academy register
  • Training datasets used only inside the laboratory environment
  • No onward licensing of platform access to third parties

Interested?

Write to info@edisgov.org with your institution, the courses you would want to deliver and your expected cohort size, or use the request form.

Research partnership

Work that returns to the platform

Research partnerships are structured so that calibration, validation and country adaptation work becomes part of the maintained model estate rather than ending with the project.

Contribution

Calibration and data

New social accounting matrices, elasticity sets, unit-cost studies and country datasets, registered with provenance and a quality score.

Contribution

Validation

Back-testing, sensitivity work and independent replication that moves a model from partial to validated status for a country.

Contribution

Extension

New sector modules or methods, specified against the platform’s interfaces so they can be called by agents like any other model service.
